Alliance Coopération

In News

As a testament to their commitment to supporting the cooperative sector and improving the financing options made available for the creation and development of Quebec cooperative organizations, the Ministère des Finances et de l’Économie, Capital regional et cooperative Desjardins, the Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité, the Business Development Bank of Canada and the Réseau des SADC et CAE announced the creation of Alliance Coopération. The program’s primary mission is to make “patient capital” available to cooperative organizations while also offering them specialized expertise. This new lever aims to support start-ups, stimulate growth and ensure the sustainability of Québec cooperatives, thereby contributing to economic development. Thanks to this alliance, up to $30 million will be earmarked for eligible projects. Local SADCs and CAEs will be responsible for conducting the financial analyses and authorizing all projects under $500 000.
